Missing lines with shifted "-B" option.

Added by Kurt almost 3 years ago

When creating a gnomonic projection of the Earth with GMT, shifting the frame causes some lines not to be drawn when compared to the non-shifted projection.
Does anyone know why?

I am using GMT v 5.1.2 on OSX 10.10.5. Attached is a comparison of non-shifted and shifted frame plots.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I can confirm this is a bug, still in 5.2.1. I have escalated this to an issue #816 and will have a look.

Fantastic!
Is there a way to use it right away or will it be included in the next release?

You can use it right away by installing via subversion. Otherwise you will have to wait for next bug release, perhaps in some months.
