grdview problem

Added by Guilherme about 1 month ago

Hello friends,

I'm trying plot a bathymetry in 3d image but it is with an error that I dont know what the problem. He stays with those walls in the south and west.

Could someone help me?

Other question: the contour can to be using the same .grd used in the grdview?

makecpt -C255,100 -T-10/10/10 -N > test.cpt
pscoast -R-30/-28/-1.0/1.0 -JM5.45i -p200/30 -B1 -BSEnw -Gblack -TdjBR+o0.1i+w1i+l -P -K > $ps
grdview bathy_tout_100m.grd -R-30/-28/-1.0/1.0/-10000/0 -JM5.45i -JZ5.34i -p200/30 -Ctest.cpt -O -N-6+glightgray -Qm -B1 -Bz1000+l"Topo (km)" -BneswZ >> $ps

regards,
Guilherme de Melo

I am guessing you mean -N-6000 and not -N-6.

Do you know how I can change this black color of bathymetry? This case I did using the example 04 of GMT.

Change:
makecpt -C255,100 -T-10/10/10 -N > test.cpt).
To (from example 34):
gmt makecpt -Cglobe -T-5000/5000 > test.cpt

What you are seeing is the "mesh" (rede) set by -Qm. Use -Qi instead.
