makecpt -T with appended + in the increment

Added by John 8 months ago

I used to be able to do the following example without GMT complaint:

gmt makecpt -Crainbow -Z -T0/1000/20+ > t.cpt

But using 6.0.0_r19127, I get this error:

makecpt [ERROR]: Syntax error -T option: For interpolation, give z_inc > 0

The z_inc value is > 0, with a "+" appended.

Removing the "+" gives expected results, for intervals of 20 units.

I can't help but think that something is amiss when appending "+" (to only create 20 levels).

Downloaded r19127, this morning. makecpt now works like a charm. Thanks, Paul! Maybe you meant r19121? - John R
