Remove black/white boundary from polar plot

Added by Paul 7 months ago

I have the following commands to plot some data in a polar view:

gmt grdimage ${GRDFILE} -JG0/90/3.2i -R-180/180/40/90 -X-1.5i -Y-2.5i -C${CPTFILE} -P -O -K >> ${OUTFILE_PS}
gmt pscoast -JG0/90/3.2i -R-180/180/40/90 -Ba60g60 -Di -A10000 -W0.3p -P -O -K >> ${OUTFILE_PS}

I like the plot except for the black/white checkerboard boundary, which is generated by the pscoast -B option. I want just a thin black line as a boundary, but keep the annotations every 60 degrees around the plot. How can I make the black/white boundary thinner so it looks like only a black line boundary?

1. Please use www.generic-mapping-tools.org instead as this site will soon shut down.
2. See GMT defaults MAP_FRAME_TYPE.
