pscontour export lat lon of contours

Added by Jefferson 4 months ago

Hola all,

I have a lat, lon, displacement (in mm) file (with 30k+ lines) that looks like this:

178.850 -38.677 32.540
178.842 -38.673 29.879
178.835 -38.669 27.218
178.827 -38.665 24.557
178.859 -38.738 60.460
178.851 -38.734 56.734
178.843 -38.730 53.008
178.835 -38.726 49.282
178.828 -38.721 45.556
178.820 -38.717 41.831
178.812 -38.713 38.105
178.804 -38.708 34.379

I've been able to plot the contours for every 50mm of displacement with the command line:
pscontour displacement.xyd -R -J -W0.8,100/100/100 -C50 -K -O >> $ps

I'm interested in exporting the lat lon points that outlines these contours. I have tried with the option -A50+t but this produces a text file with the lat lon locations of the annotations in the map, not the actual outline.
Thank you very much for the ideas you can give me. I've attached an image of the current output.!!

Nevermind, just needed to add -Dexportfile%.0f.txt with no image output
