Description

The output of gmt spatial (-I) has been mixed up.

sample code to find intersection:

echo -e "170 -40\n176 -40" > a.path
echo -e "174 -35\n174 -45" > b.path

gmt spatial -Ie -D a.path b.path

correct output (gmt v5.4.3):

174 -40 0.666666666667 0.5 a.path b.path

incorrect output (tested on r19922 and r20191):

174 -40 174 -40 0.666666666667 0.5

Summary:

  • First 2 outputs are repeated incorrectly, others are shifted and last 2 are missing.
  • Also: there are additional new lines after each line output.
