Description

There is no way to specify --B so that none of the frames are drawn. This is useful when you just want to draw one or more gridlines but do not want any frame. Perhaps --B- to select no frame?

something like this [5.1.1_r12614]?

#!/bin/bash
cat > only_grid.d << EOF
1 g
2 g
3 g
4 g
5 g
6 g
7 g
8 g
9 g
EOF
psbasemap -R0/10/0/10 -JX10 -Bconly_grid.d --MAP_FRAME_AXES='' > only_grid.ps
rm -f only_grid.d gmt.conf gmt.history

Yes but that is hardly a nice solution and it is not a custom spacing so should not have to go to -Bc for this.
I will implement something that does not interfere with other options.

Implemented via -B+n for no frame. We needed a special switch since not giving any sides means the default of all 4 sides. Added as a new feature in r12684 in branch 5.2.0.

Closed since implemented in future 5.2.0 branch.
