I know it can be achieved by calling several times pscoast, so it should not be prioritary. But could be great if one can call several times the -F option in order to plot different countries with different colors. The idea is that each time pscoast finds a -F option, it just plot the specified countries, then -F should be allowed several times on each pscoast.

For example:
pscoast -R -J -FUK,IT,FR+gBlue -FES,PT,GR+gYellow -O -K >> $ps

Should plot UK, Italy and France in Blue, while Spain, Portugal and Greece in Yellow.

The advantage is that all the country polygons are plotted in the same layer and the code is more compact.

I imagine that since -B is allowed several times on the same module, the implementation of -F several times can also be done.

This has been implemented in the 5.2 branch. So when 5.2 is released you can use multiple -F options; or you can build from source via svn.

Closing this as the feature has been implemented and tested a bit and won't be released until 5.2.0
