Description

When psscale uses -Baf and -R -J are set for proper positioning the resulting annotation increments are wrong. Presumably there is confusion regarding the range of z and the range of lon or lat. This code demonstrates the problem:

gmt makecpt -Crainbow -T1000/4500/250 -Z > z.cpt
gmt psscale -Cz.cpt -R252/257/35/40 -JM6i -P -Dx4i/4i/5i/0.25ih -Baf > t.ps

Should be fixed in r14203. Added bool generate so we know when we need to reset intervals and recompute them in psscale.
