This is perhaps a stupid thing to nag about but forgetting this...

On my install (4.5.14_r10312 [64-bit]) the following command

grdimage -Ccool -JX10d -R0/90/0/90 > test.ps

gives rise to the error message
GMT Fatal Error: grdimage requesting negative n_items (-4611686031312289789) - exceeding 32-bit counting?

perhaps a message that no input file have been supplied would be more instructive (at least from the man page this seems to be mandatory)

BTW. Is BUG the proper tracker for this (I wouldn't call this a bug), I was thinking about using feature but have the impression that this is for feature requests?

Absolutely a bug, and now fixed in r10314. GMT5 is not affected.
