gmt5 and gmt4 macports updated
Added by Florian almost 5 years ago
The macports gmt5 and gmt4 have just been updated to version 5.1.0 and 4.5.11. gshhg-gmt-nc4 is @2.2.4 and dcw-gmt @1.1.0. The gmt4 macport includes a fix for the ps2raster issue (#431) on Mavericks.
I install the GMT5 on my mac via the Macports. But when i type the "psxy" command, it doesn't work. I type the "gmt psxy", it works. So how i can let the terminal recognize the "psxy" command.
Just add this line to your .bashrc or run on command line:
source $(gmt --show-datadir)/tools/gmt_functions.sh
thanks, Florian. It works, Now the "psxy" command can be recognized by the terminal. Another question is How i can do to let the terminal recognized the "man psxy" ?
One possibility would be to set MANPATH:
thanks a lot, florian. I add the following scripts to my .bash_profile. It works. I use the bash. And it only works when i add those to my .bash_profile, when i add the following script into the .bashrc, it doesn't work.
source $(gmt --show-datadir)/tools/gmt_functions.sh export MANPATH="/opt/local/share/doc/gmt/man:$MANPATH"
